CopySage is a diagnostic tool that helps you inspect what’s currently in your device’s clipboard (pasteboard). It provides detailed information about any content you’ve copied, including:
- Text content with encoding details
- Images with dimension and format information
- URLs and web links
- Colors with RGB and HSB values
- Dates and times
- Numbers and numeric values
- Files and documents
- Raw binary data with hex viewer
How It Works
When you copy something on your device, it’s stored in the system pasteboard (clipboard). This app reads from that pasteboard and analyzes what it finds, providing a detailed breakdown of the content.
The analyzer handles multiple formats of the same content, as apps often place several representations of data in the pasteboard for compatibility.
Usage Instructions
- Copy Content – Copy any content from any app on your device (text, image, URL, etc.)
- Open CopySage – Open CopySage
- Paste Content – Tap the paste button in the top-right corner to update the view if needed. You will be asked to allow the app to read your clipboard each and every time. Because the app reads all types sent in the pasteboard, this is unavoidable for the analyzer to work correctly.
- View Items – Browse the list of detected pasteboard items
- See Details – Tap any item to view detailed information and content preview

Privacy Note
This app only reads from your device’s pasteboard when you tap paste. It does not store, transmit, or track any pasteboard content, and all analysis happens locally on your device.
